Academic Background And Professional Career
After studies at the University of Zurich (lic.iur., 1995) and after practise at court and in law firms, Matthias Geiser worked for a large medium-sized accounting and auditing company, where he headed the legal department at the Zurich branch and was a member of the board of directors. After being admitted to the Zurich bar and after completing postgraduate studies at the University of Auckland (New Zealand), he was engaged and partner for 15 years in the Zurich office of a Swiss group of law firms. Matthias Geiser joined Rutschmann Schwaibold Partner as a partner in the mid of 2020.
Preferred Areas of Practice
Matthias Geiser practices as business lawyer, with a particular focus on public planning and construction law. He regularly litigates before civil and administrative courts, and was engaged in unbundling and dissolving different complex dispute cases. Before studies, Matthias Geiser learned and worked as a wood sculptor. He has resumed this work.
